Rodolphus pretended to contemplate the tea sitting on the table in front of him then let a slightly nauseous look drift momentarily across his face. He then turned his attention back to his godson.
"Interesting," he mused, ignoring Theodore's first comment. He then arched an eyebrow. "Such powerful Dark magic would only be able to be used by a few witches or wizards. My, my, what has Montague been doing to offend someone so powerful? He must have done something. After all, why else would someone advertise the fact that they can do such a thing? They'd the Aurors after their head."
Not that Montague's wife or Theodore would have contacted the Aurors, if Rodolphus was any judge. After all, Aurors had a tendency to ask uncomfortable and intrusive questions and stick their noses into a person's business and he doubted Montague was smart enough to have completely hidden his dealings with the Death Eaters.
