He was more prepared for the sight of Rodolphus being weak today - yet he hadn't expected him to look this weak. He couldn't for the life of him believe that he looked worse than before - only he did, and once more Theo felt the battle between doubt and concern in his chest.

He pushed both questions to the back of his mind, walking up to the chair opposite Rodolphus'. 'Rodolphus,' he greeted as he sat down, the cognac before him before he could ask. For a moment he wondered if he should ask - a simple how are you. But he wasn't sure. Still ignoring it seemed to be the worse choice.
'How are you feeling?' he asked. There was no mistaking the genuine concern that coloured his voice, even with the doubts raging inside him.
