Oh, sweet Merlin, not without warning, Morag thought to herself as Parkinson literally sailed over to the table with a big smile on her face and looking for all the world like they were all old friends. She'd meant to talk to the girl at some point, but she'd needed to work her way up to it, and she wasn't happy at being ambushed like she was.
It didn't help that Pansy hugged and kissed Antonin right in front of her. Just as she was about to tell the woman off, the silly bint did the same thing to her! Morag couldn't keep the look of utter shock off her face, and she did try.
'Pansy,' she said slowly, it taking a moment for her to find her voice. She wasn't sure if she was being complimented or insulted. From most people, it would have been a compliment, but who knew with Parkinson? 'Thank you,' she replied cautiously.
'Please, sit down,' she suggested with a weak smile after Parkinson had, in fact, already plopped her butt down at their private table without an invitation. Percy and Antonin both were going to owe her for this, she decided.
But Parkinson did, at least, lead into a topic she didn't mind discussing, so she followed. 'Fine, most of the time,' she answered. 'I nap a lot,' she admitted, 'and sit or lie around like a lump a great deal of the time, but I don't think I can complain.'
'Yes, it's a girl,' she said, her eyes resting affectionately on Antonin. 'We're going to call her Anna. For Antonin's mum,' she reported.
