Percy held even tighter, kissing Cass anywhere he could reach, trying to keep as much body contact as he could. "She's alive, Cass. You need to keep thinking that."
He sighed, because he did understand what Cass meant, but he lost his mother and he knew what that meant. "She might be in pain, but as long as she's alive, we can try and get her out.
