Percy frowned as he took the letter. He had to read it twice, just to make sure, but the words were still there, still unchanged. He had the urge to throw up just like Cass had done, but he needed to stay calm.
He called the house elf and handing him the letter and the package. "Bring it to Auror McLaggen. Tell him to confirm the identity of the victim. I'll need an answer as soon as possible."
The house elf nodded and Disappearated.
Having taken care of the important things, he got into bed, and put his arms around Cass. "Listen to me, Cass. She's alive. That's what you need to focus on. She's still alive, and neither of us thought she would be, but she is, and that's what you need to hold on."
