Pansy smiled. The idea that Polly might catch the eye of someone like Nathaniel Nott someday was a dearly held dream of hers. Harry, of course, would be adamantly against such a thing, but Pansy knew if Polly fell in love with Nathaniel....and he seemed like he would be good to her, of course....then Harry wouldn't be able to hold onto his objections. 'Never to soon to start making those alliances that are so necessary,' she agreed.
She rolled her eyes and gave a dramatic sigh. 'Darling, you have no idea how difficult it is to travel with a toddler! You'd think that because they are bigger, you'd have to carry fewer things, but nooooo! You have to have toys in case they get bored, and changes of clothes because they get dirty so easily....' She confided, 'I swear, Polly hasn't figured it out yet, but Ella could find a mud puddle in a desert!' Her eyes showed just how appalling she found that.
'I know!' Pansy complained about the length of time. 'Oh, I spend time with Polly. She's learned to walk, although she's not terribly good at it, just yet. And I'm teaching her music and how to eat without making a mess.' She sighed. 'Or make that, teaching her to clean her hands and mouth often because she makes the most horrific mess!' she confided.
