Percy looked at the bed, knowing that he'd have to wash the sheets now because there'd be dog hair everywhere. That was only one of the many reasons he didn't allow Plato in his room, but it'd been too long since Cass had been home, and Percy had barely been at home himself, leaving the dog alone for weeks. Plato deserved a treat as well.
He took his clothes off, and got into bed. He puffed his pillows and settled against them while he kept a hand on Cass. "Don't get used to this," he told Plato, before turning to Cass. "It's good to have you home again." He leaned down to kiss him, not at all surprised when he felt Plato inch closer, sniffing the air to see what they were doing. Satisfied, the dog moved back again. "He approves too," he said with a grin.
