Cass laughed. 'Poor girl, though I don't think you give her enough credit. I think she sees more than she lets on,' he said with a wink.
He rested his head against Percy, relaxing for a moment while thinking.
He looked up. 'I could be careful how I word things, make it seem as if this, us, is recent, but then he's very likely to go to Miles to discuss things so I can't imagine he won't find out everything anyway.' He pondered the situation for a moment.
'I need to tell Monty,' he then said, almost frowning at the very idea. 'He won't take things well, and will in all likelihood never speak to me again, but... he thinks he's my cousin, and as such he has always been a good one - in spite of his alliances. I want to tell him face to face, it's the only fair thing.'
'I don't know which he'll dislike most. That I'm not his cousin or that I'm bi or that I'm with a Weasley.' He could have groaned at the very thought. 'I think the Weasley part most likely, he hates everyone in your family by association to the twins alone. Then again he has more reason for that many.'
