Percy shook his head. "That's all right. I find children to be... evil at worse, annoying at best, and therefore this is a perfect solution, although it really is about work and it's not something you want her to hear."
He ignored the invitation to sit since he was already sitting. He never really thought that his Aurors were great on manner, but then they got the job done and that was what mattered. "If you don't mind, I'd rather get to work, and I've learnt that it's easier to discuss what needs to discuss than to sit around and play society hour."
He shifted around. It wasn't that the chair was uncomfortable, but the discussion was, and there was no way to ease into it, so he went straight to the point. "I need you to conduct a special investigation. You will have absolute autonomy even from me. You will make the determination and if you find that there was no wrong doing then the file will be sealed, and I and any Head Auror in the future would be able to review it, but no one else. This one isn't even making its way to the Ministry."
