'You'd be surprised by the loyalty amongst Slytherins,' Cass answered with a smirk. 'That is if you're pureblood and doesn't choose to become an Auror,' he added as a half joke. He wondered how much truth was behind it though. He guessed he'd have to wait and see.
A smile spread him though, as Percy spoke of his family. 'The difference being that you weren't straight,' he said with a smirk. 'But either way I wouldn't have been interested.'
He was surprised that Percy knew that Miles had the mark, as he thought for sure he'd have known it too then. After all, it was a not so well kept secret amongst all the Aurors that he was a Death Eater. They all knew that. The mark though, was new. He'd always thought there weren't any tangible proof. When asked what he wanted to do about it, however, he felt suddenly conflicted. Then he shook his head. 'He has a kid, and an adopted kid, and one on the way,' he said, frowning. 'On the subject of sterilization,' he said with a smile. 'But no. We could lean on him though, get him to do the spying, see how forced he really was?' It was worth thinking of at least, and more than fair considering.
He only nodded on the file on his family, not arguing. He really did hate doing that to Montague though, but he needed to remind himself that Montague had brought it on himself.
