Percy sighed. "I know you won't, but a man can be optimistic, can't he? I want you safe, Cass, but I know you'll be out there. I do pray that you use some common sense to do this time, though. You need to be careful, Cass. Please. I can't sit here again and again arguing with Healers who tell me you're going to die, because that's what I went through. They were sure you were dead. Everyone was just waiting for you to die. Do you get that? They thought I was insane when I told them that you wouldn't, that you're too stubborn for death. Please, I don't want to do this again."
He smiled a little. "You won't see me on a battle field any time soon, regardless of my personal feeling. I'm one of those rare Gryffindors who can actually think before doing something. It's rare, I know, but we do exist."
The other comment and questions weren't so easily answered, though. Did he want to know? "I would rather be oblivious for eternity, but chances are that I will find out sooner rather than later. I don't need to know everything in your past. I don't need a list of all the people you slept with, but you know the things I would care about. You know me, so tell me about those."
