The apparition was quick, and Dennis was a little giddy from the magic when they arrived back near the woods. The blood was still coursing through his veins from his feed, and had he been alive, the blood would have rushed to his face, a little like Luna's was. He could see that in the relative darkness of where they were, even if a mortal could not.
"As you wish, my dear," he said with a chuckle, letting Luna wrap her arms around him and close her eyes as he took off at a great speed back to her home.
It seemed like only a minute before they were at the doorstep of Atropa Belladonna, but this time, Dennis didn't want to let his hands off her. His patience was wearing thin, as he suspected Luna's was as well, and once they were through that door, he didn't think he would be able to contain himself any longer.
