When he came back with the drinks (after giving his quarry one of those firm looks that told her he'd be on the lookout for her later), he sat close.
He had to admit that Luna was good company. The longer he spent with her, the more he was slowly learning. She wasn't stupid, not by any stretch, but like Colin, she seemed to be easy to manipulate emotionally.
At the mention of the music and how it made her feel, he chuckled and grinned. Her heart was racing as the music thudded through him as well. It was all too easy to sidle up to her in such a place.
"It makes me sometimes feel like I still have a heartbeat." Every now and then, he'd drop a subtle reminder of how different he was, and he licked his lips quietly.
"Come on, let's dance," he said as he pulled her by the hand.
