Dennis saw the look of wonder on Luna's face. It was a true look of innocence and he was thrilled to feel the race of her pulse as he held her hand. Her closeness warmed him, and short of feeling blood through his veins, it was a very pleasant feeling indeed.
He didn't want to scare her off, but he could sense that she was keen to have a bit of fun, let her hair down.
Leaning in closer and tugging her arm lightly, he pointed to a club that had a fairly healthy looking crowd lined up at the door. "How about that one. The music is pretty good, and it will be nice and busy. Plus, it's half price drinks. Can't argue with that now, can you?"
He didn't have the heart to tell her that he'd already spotted tonight's dinner waiting in the queue.
