Pansy grinned. 'No, you'd just manage to have a baby during the biggest one I was throwing,' she teased. It wasn't easy to hug Tracey, with the baby in her arms, but Pansy did it again anyway. 'Ooooh, I've missed you!' she told her friend.
She smiled down at Violet, admiring her manners and hoping she did as good a job with Polly. 'He's just not used to lots of strangers,' she told the little girl. 'But I'm sure he'll grow out of that!' Between Tracey's genes and Draco's, that was a given. 'Polly just grins at them and yells no at the top of her lungs, so she's not doing that much better!'
Pansy smiled at the baby, gently stroking his fine hair with one finger. 'Oh, Tracey, he's precious! And you're absolutely right, he looks just like a little Draco!'
Something grabbed her around the legs and Pansy leaned over to pick up Polly. The number of people in the room seemed to be making her just a wee bit nervous because she hadn't let Pansy get too far away from away at any point in the afternoon.
'Polly, this is Princess Violet,' she said, not remembering if Polly and Violet had met yet. 'Maybe you'd like to have Violet and Ella come over to play some time?' she suggested. 'Ella stayed with us while Millicent was ill,' she explained to Tracey. Her lips quirked. 'Millicent was a little less than excited about...you know.'
