Verity was glad for all of the exercise she got while in Italy as she walked with Marlowe and Montague to Pansy's house. Once there Monty kissed her cheek and told her to have fun and walked on to Terence's. She instantly turned to Marlowe to make sure that his smart navy robes were just right before knocking on the door.
Suddenly, once she'd knocked, she felt terrified. She hadn't been around anyone in so long, she didn't know how many people had heard of her pregnancy, or how many people would be here. And Marlowe- no one knew about Marlowe and there would likely be questions. And all of those were minor compared to her own self-image. She knew she was large for how far along she was- but then, there were two babies... she looked more like six months pregnant than three and a half. The robes were beautiful and comfortable and she hoped that they helped her look a little less mammouth.
