"Well it's true. Motherhood must agree with us. I don't think we would have believed that a couple of years ago, hmmm?" Pansy did look more than just content, and that had Padma a little curious. If anything, she looked like a woman in love. But she'd hold her questions. No doubt Pansy would tell her if she had any news to share. Still, it didn't stop her from wondering.
"Of course," Padma beamed, handing her son over to Pansy. His eyes sparkled brightly even as he thought to put Pansy's hair in her mouth, but giggled at her instead for the funny words she teased him with.
Polly's words - or rather - word - amused her no end. "Well, it could be worse. She could be saying 'mine' all the time. I believe that's what I apparently used to say for a good few months when I first learned to talk."
Nathaniel's eyes sparkled and he turned when Polly shouted out her latest 'no', his whole body wriggling around to meet this other child. "I believe she's already getting the attention of the boys. Oh dear."
