The hand squeeze went a long way towards soothing his nerves, but at the same time, he wasn't quite sure she wouldn't go off on some hairbrained scheme. Granted, that was one of the reasons he loved her as much as he did, but at the same time... going off half-cocked wasn't the best plan in the world either.
"That was the idea, love," Remus replied, barely hiding a chuckle. "Besides," he continued, not realising he was practically reading her mind, "I know several people who would make a brilliant mum." And one of them is standing before me. Maybe it was the fact that he was married now, but damn, the desire for a pack of his own was there. Not that the middle of a war was a proper time... but still. It was there.
Remus sighed, resting his cheek against the top of her head. "This will all be over soon. It cannot last much longer, can it?"
