Remus gave her 'a look'. One that plainly said that he was Half-Muggle and had no issue with certain Muggle accoutrements. Besides, at this point, he'd rather see her well as opposed to continually suffering. Call it the protective side of him, but dammit, if they were going to be in this marriage together, he wasn't going to put up with her in pain. Ever.
Of that, Remus had no doubt. Still, he couldn't get their argument out of his head. He knew what he had said, how strongly he felt that Umbridge would leave them all alone after he acquiesced. He was wrong and now they were about to pay the price of his poor judgement.
"I'm glad you didn't start packing immediately," Remus said, wrinkling his nose slightly. "Mine isn't as bad as I thought. Asking if I've ever been a danger to society or if I've given you preferential treatment because we're married." Remus shrugged. "Really, it could have been worse."
