Summary: Adrian is bored and goes to find the best cure for it.
Adrian was bored.
Actually, he was more than just bored. Since quitting the Aurors and sleeping for about three weeks, the novelty of not having to do anything except delegate had soon worn off and it wasn't long before Adrian was Apparating to his and Stephen's various homes, paying more attention to his horses and to himself. And, of course, Stephen but that went without saying. He had almost always been back at Hogwarts before Stephen finished his classes and the fact that they could eat together every night without Adrian face planting into his food from the sleep deprivation was always a great bonus.
Putting the toys down - because naturally he was in the baby department at Harrods - he sighed and tried not to be impatient. Terry's spells had worked and thanks to the pox, a lot of money and some pretty desperate gorgeous Pureblood witches, him and Stephen were finally going to be able to have a child together. Adrian couldn't wait and he'd taken to shopping on the sly, a bit embarrassed about the amount of things he'd already bought for the little one. Of course, they were all hidden at the estate so Stephen wouldn't know but he couldn't help but want to spoil their as yet unborn child and so he would keep doing so until Stephen cottoned on.
Still, even cute stuffed animals and babygros couldn't keep him focused today and he was only partly mollified that he'd been shopping for him and Stephen first and had managed to find some clothes he couldn't wait to see Stephen put on... Mainly so he could rip them back off. He said goodbye to the shop girls - they were on a first-name basis by now - and as soon as he went into the men's toilets, Apparated back into North Aston Hall, not bothering to put the shopping bags down in the bedroom before heading to where he knew Stephen would be. "Hello," he said, moving closer and kissing Stephen, pulling back only to kiss him again for good measure. "Did you do anything interesting this afternoon? I got you some clothes earlier, went to London after riding."
