They offered to have them here tomorrow morning but I told them I wouldn't be up so their promptness wouldn't be rewarded," he said, looking at the research papers on the desk and wondering if it was worth his life to sit on them and possibly annoy Stephen. He decided against it, putting the bags down and leaning against the desk instead.
