He smiled, stepping up to her. 'I promise, I won't say a word to Miles,' he said, a promise easy enough to make. He wanted the man in jail, not with his legs broken or whatever else it was Miles did. He pushed the thought away, not wanting to think of it. It was always better that way.
'And I would never think of you as a case, Lettie. You're you.' He grinned.
'You can say that all you want, but I still beat you fair and square,' he said with a smirk. 'And so now I need to plan a date,' he said with a smirk, moving closer. 'So when would be good for you? I have plans the upcoming weekend, and the weekend after that they're making me work,' he frowned. 'How about the one after that?' he asked. He at least hoped he wouldn't be too busy by then. And that he would have some information at that time - even if he wouldn't take it up with her.
