Cass shook his head. 'I know you told me it was a modified memory charm and that the guys name was Massimo, but is there anything else you can tell me?' he asked. 'I have some vacation coming up next week, and I thought I'd accidentally spend it in Spain asking a few questions,' he said.
'If this guy can do it to someone like Lettie - how many other women has he done this to? If I can help it, I'm not going to let him get away with it.' He wasn't so foolish as to think that Miles approved of his methods - or that he was even remotely comfortable with him being an Auror. There was a reason most his friends had started to selectively invite (and not invite) him to things once he'd gone from training to be an Auror to actually being one, but in this instance he really needed Miles to see that there were perks to him being an Auror too.
He wasn't going to sit idly by when someone hurt his friends.
'Sure,' he answered to the question of the pool room, still amused that Miles would have something so Muggle in his home.
