Re: tonks/bella
Bellatrix really couldn't believe it. She'd expected surprise, or revulsion, or something more...she didn't even know.
Instead, Dora was just standing there, unable to cast a single thing at her even as her blood ran steadily down her injured arm.
"Pitiful," she muttered. The girl was insanely weak, but it looked that it was going to be Bella's saving grace. It was quite obvious that her magic was unreliable, and it seemed that more and more Aurors were appearing with each passing moment.
Bellatrix hesitated. She hated to run, but Rodolphus would never forgive her if she continued to put his heirs in danger. And it was her hesitation that cost her.
A slashing curse hit her from behind, either from an errant attack or a back attack. Either way, it didn't particularly matter, as it sliced through the flesh of her shoulder blade.
Bellatrix hissed, but she knew she was lucky. From the quick and searing pain, she already knew it wasn't deep. Something deep would have had a more numbing effect, but she was off balance now.
It was then that she thought she heard her husband's voice calling her name in an almost panic. Rodolphus never panicked, and she turned her face towards the source of the voice.
The sight that greeted her was something she thought she'd never see.
