Verity read the invitation and frowned. Soon her frown gave way to tears and she was glad she was alone. This wasn't fair! She didn't care if she was being petulant, she was tired of being stuck in Italy with no friends and no one to ask for advice save Eva. They were supposed to have been home ages ago!
