Summary: Rodolphus is disgusted by what he finds the aurors doing, and devises a plan that should please Bellatrix.
The summer sun streamed through the windows of Greengrass Manor, brightening up the already over light room. The decor was appallingly bright, and Rodolphus was getting enough of a headache from it.
But of course, Bellatrix had already complained to him of her thoughts on their current surroundings. He had not failed to notice his wife's lack of good spirits, but then she had been in less than her best spirits ever since they learned of this pregnancy.
The only truly bright spot in his day (literally) was the information he read. Bletchley had delivered his first report from Vaisey, and the contents of the report were more than interesting. Of course, the addendum that Bletchley mentioned - that Vaisey was no longer sleeping with Weasley - seemed just a little too convenient. Bletchley said he knew his friend well enough to believe it was not a ruse, but true.
There was enough information in the report to let that slide for now. The triumphant smirk on his face turned into a little laugh as he realised the fantastic opportunity that awaited them. It was right there on the pages before him, and he let the triumph play across his lips at the thought of the plan forming in his mind.
He sought his wife's company, finding her looking a little more than frustrated in her rooms. "My darling," he said as he stepped into her domain. "It would seem the tide is turning, and we have an opportunity for a little bit of fun my dear."
"How would you like to cause a little chaos, panic and disorder?" If that didn't please her, then he had no idea what would.
