'I swear, they take their lives in their own hands every time they try to go somewhere,' Morag muttered. 'Oh, dear, let me see....' she said with concern when Gabrielle hit her head against the window. She bit her lip. 'I don't think it will leave a mark, but if it does, Antonin has a salve for that that's quite good,' she told the younger girl.
'Antonin will likely do some work while we're gone. He has a number of business ventures to oversee, and he's been neglecting them a bit lately, what with seeing to me and buying the boat and all.' She smiled fondly. 'He's always careful to give me time to myself,' she shared. 'He wants me to remember that I'm with him because I enjoy being with him.' She smiled again.
The taxicab stopped and the driver got out. 'I believe we've arrived,' she told Gabrielle, looking out the window.
