She was so absorbed in what she did, Dennis couldn't help admiring that. "You really love what you do, don't you?"
He didn't say how long he'd be around for - he'd just leave that open ended. "Well we'll see."
Shugging, he pretended to be grateful. "Oh it's the least I could do to say thanks. I mean, there isn't a lot I can do, is there?"
At the question, he pretended to pause and think for a moment. "Yeah, it's hard in some ways. But I grew up Muggle, so I guess I knew how to fit in without it for so long."
"But there's so much else I can do now. The super speed, and strength, and the fact I can hear and see much better in the dark than ever before." Not to mention I lost all sense of a soul, or any true human feelings, which truly are such a burden.
