It was the same explaination that Charlie always gave both the twins - that it wasn't hard since they'd seen the twins their whole lives. "Guess we'll have to try harder then." Fred winked, knowing that both he and George still liked to fool people, even considering their age, they still thought it was fun.
Fred turned his head to the excited squeals and laughter coming from his niece and nephew over in the garden. They were great kids and Fred could tell Bill was worried for them. Considering the old toad's new decree, it was a valid worry.
And then, Bill had brought it up. Obviously he and Fleur had been seriously discussing the decree, but had brushed it off as easily as it was brought up. "Man, she's already engaged. Have you seen the rock on her finger, it's bloody brilliant. But still, I know what you mean... I still remember tugging on her pigtails just to teach her how to fight back." Fred had no idea what it was like to be a father, but he could see that Bill really did wish that Charlotte could stay a little girl forever.
"So... Katie and I are going to be looking for a house of our own soon. Can't live at Nev's place forever yeah." And then he dared to broach the subject. "How are you and Fleur holding up after the latest bull-shite?" Fred was looking concerned and wondering if there was anything he could do for his brother.
