Bill watched as Lucas and Charlotte ran away to play in the vast garden, Fleur following them to make sure they were safe. He himself stayed where he was, watching his family, pondering the discussions they've had lately.
France. It was an option, but not one he liked. He liked to be here, close to his family, taking trips to visit his father, watching Fleur run the school while he and Theo worked on starting the bank. Yet, as it seemed it was becoming harder.
Registration first...then what? Would they take the school from Fleur? Would they impose rules against their children? Perhaps France was the best option.
Tonight though, he tried to push it away. Ginny's engagement party. He smiled. He could still remember holding her in his arms when she was a baby, and now she was old enough to get engaged. He hoped Charlotte wouldn't grow up so fast. Actually she could just stop growing now when she was little and still thought of him as her hero.
He tore his eyes away, looking to the rest of the guests, seeing his brother approach him. He smiled, waiting for him to reach him.
