Miles knew that opportunities to go out and have fun were drying up pretty quickly at the moment, and he figured that with the baby coming soon, Daphne might not want to, or feel up to going out. He couldn't be sure, but a night out at Antonin's new 'housewarming' seemed like a good idea. Besides, with the Lestranges doing their utmost to stress Daphne, he knew she deserved a night out with friends.
Anyway, Liam wanted to know if Dolohov's was a real pirate ship. Miles wouldn't put it past Antonin to deck the thing out in pirate regalia just for Liam.
He thought Daphne looked radiant, and told her as much as she was getting ready. He didn't think she looked pregnant, their daughter doing a fine job of hiding herself away.
The realisation they were having a daughter was still fresh, and now that he knew it was really happening, his awe had increased tenfold. A baby girl. It seemed unfathomable, and he truly couldn't believe that this was happening.
"Are we ready to show Dolohov the results of his magical handiwork?" he said with a smirk. If there wasn't this spell on them, then perhaps things would be very different right now. Not that he could imagine it, but... well... he just stopped thinking, and looked at his stunningly beautiful wife, and realised he was one lucky bastard.
