Gabrielle blushed; she had not expected to be thanked. In her own eyes, she was the one who needed help, not Fleur. It was then that Gabrielle realized, for the first time, that perhaps she was not as young and helpless as she assumed herself. Fleur was always the older, wiser sister, and probably always would be... but Gabrielle had an awful lot to offer, too. It was about time she stopped hiding behind her sister.
"Mon chaton," she interjected suddenly, "I zink that I would like to go to Antonin's boat by myself. For me. I mean, you will be zere too, of course, I just... 'ave to arrive alone because I-" She stopped, shaking her head. Getting so flustered was something she definitely had to work on. "I will see you zere, oui?"
