Date: 1 June 2006 Characters: Seamus Finnigan, Emma McLaggen Location: The McLaggen/Creevey/Finnigan household in Hogsmeade Private/Public: Private Rating: G Warnings: Giggles. Summary: Seamus is peaceful. And a tickle monster.
Seamus loved early summer. Well, he loved it when Miles wasn't bossing him around the pub. The day was perfect, really. He had the day off and generally had all the time in the world to just lay down in the back garden and watch the clouds drift by. Emma had been outside with him earlier, pointing up at the sky and giggling about all the white little bunnies and cats she saw lazing about above them. After a while she'd noticed the way Seamus's eyes had begun to droop down, and she gave him a kiss on his forehead before standing up and tiptoeing across the grass back into the house.
An hour later he woke up to the feeling of something very wet going over his face, and he opened his eyes to find one of the dogs licking him. He laughed a little as he pushed Snoopy away and then sat up, pulling the dog over to him and cradling him in his arms.
"What're you doing? Miss Emma send you outside to ready me for dinner?" he asked, squeezing the dog's face gently before kissing him on the top of his head. "Cheeky mutt," he told the dog, and then stood up, still holding Snoopy in his arms.
He walked back into the house, rolling his eyes as Emma laughed at his hair and his use of dog saliva as a temporary styling gel. "Stop your giggling, or I'll give you something to really giggle about," he told her, giving her a fake scolding look. Emma only stuck her tongue out at him and then ran, and he put the dog down and chased after her, catching up with her in the living room and throwing her gently down onto the sofa before tickling her.
She laughed till she cried, and Seamus tickled her a bit more. "Stop! Stop, Seamoose!" she shrieked through her laughter, attempting to squirm away from his fingers. He laughed at how much she was laughing but still didn't let up. "Seamoose, I have to pee! Stop it!" she laughed harder, her face growing red and tears running down her cheeks. Seamus finally stopped tickling (mainly because Cormac would kill him if Emma peed on the sofa), and let her up, laughing as she ran straight for the downstairs bathroom.
"Wash your hands for dinner!" Emma yelled at him from the bathroom, and Seamus laughed again, standing up and moving into the kitchen to do just as she'd asked.
