There was something in his eyes when she snapped at him that she didn't expect although she couldn't quite define what it was. Releif? That wasn't really possible, was it? It didn't make any sense.
She remained stubbornly bitter until he attempted to hold her. Even then the awkwardness of the gesture tainted her mood. But his arms around her felt nice and she didn't have much choice in whether she relaxed a bit.
When he mentioned the East Wing she smiled secretly and bit her lip. The mere mention seemed to wake her neglected body. "Perhaps," she said quietly, her mind already playing with her idea.
"I'll go dress," she announced, pulling back from him.
