He'd been in the bathroom a while, slipping in not too quietly, but apparently enough so she didn't notice him. She was nearly scowling at her reflection, turning around, back and forth as if looking in the mirror long enough would relieve her of her growing belly.
She was restless here- he knew and he felt bad. He wanted to take them home, the three of them, but even if he just started to mention it his mother found something else to keep them tied down. Though Verity wasn't the only one. He missed the house in Hogsmeade, he missed drinking with Miles, snarking with Higgs; and he knew Marlowe missed Liam.
Watching her for the long moment, studying himself, the new curves of her body- a plane he wanted to discover, but she'd been rather touchy about any physical affection. Scratching is neck slightly he made a move, walking slowly over to her, a hand reaching to touch her naked shoulder, lips moving to kiss next to it.
"Hey." He said, a small quirked smile as he looked up, pressing his lips then to her temple. "I had an idea for today..." he continued, knowing that as much as he wanted to tell her he thought her changing body was alluring, she'd more then likely just push the compliment angrily aside, her moods were radical anymore... And instead he would focus on the idea he'd had upon waking.
