Colin frowned when he saw yet another decree posted up around town as he made his way home from Honeydukes that evening. He had almost missed it as he walked quickly with his head down, in a hurry to see Cormac again.
He stopped though when the corner of a flyer caught his eye, long enough for him to look up and see that it was new.
He read it over quickly, shaking his head. It was like fourth year all over again. He wondered when there would start being decrees about personal hygiene and attire.
He pursed his lips when he finished reading, his mind stuck on one word - Vampires.
He hadn't thought about Dennis in ages, months, and now he was there again, right in the forefront of his mind that pompous smile plastered on his face revealing those awful fangs.
He knew the decree would hurt people he knew, Order members, but he couldn't stop thinking about Dennis now. He looked around the empty streets warily before he started off at a run, no more desperate than ever to get home. It was stupid to run from someone who wasn't there, who wasn't even in the same town anymore, but he couldn't help himself. He wouldn't feel safe until he was home again.
