Cass was in an utterly good mood today. It was true that he was overworked since the attack, and that Umbridge probably knew of his mother, but at the end of the day, he couldn't bother to worry about those. Not when he'd spent the night making sure neither he nor Percy even remembered the woman's name.
It was strange how at ease Percy could make him, how things seemed to become more manageable as soon as he had Percy close. It was something he'd never believed in, love, but he couldn't deny the effects when they were so obvious.
It was not the only reason he was in a good mood today though. The thought of Miles as a daddy of three (in a way) highly amused him. In fact he'd not been able to stop laughing about it for quite some time, and was definitely grinning as he walked through the door to the room Miles was in.
'No cracks needed,' he answered the greeting. 'I'll settle for a lesson on how to use a contraceptive potion,' he laughed. 'Or have you purposely set out to people the world now that the war is taking so many?' he teased.
