RP: The boy is back in town Date: 18 January 2006 Characters: Dennis Creevey, Jander Mulboon Location: Hogsmeade Private/Public: Private Rating: R (it's vampires... it's never less) Warnings: - Summary: Dennis comes back to town and isn't happy to see Jander. Nope, not at all.
Dennis had been thinking about it now for a couple of weeks. The vampire lair in Upper Slaughter was very nice, and Svetlana's bed was the perfect place to rest every day, but he was restless. He'd been restless even when he was alive. He'd rarely sat still for too long - always doing something new, something different. It was why he used to have so many projects on the go, and so much energy in his step when he was alive.
The boundless energy was still there now, only it was channelled into more basic pursuits. Food and sex. But even after a few weeks of this now, he felt the need to move on. Svetlana explained that it was only natural to want to leave the nest and go out on his own. His burns had fully healed, and he was back to his old vampiric self. He'd been toying with thoughts of returning to Hogsmeade for a while. Muggles were all well and tasty, but there was just something about feeding off a witch or wizard that seemed eminently more satisfying.
Which is how he found himself lurking around a very dark corner of an alley in Hogsmeade. It was a Friday night, and the usual crowds were in the streets of the village. He'd thought about heading to Honeydukes, but as he neared the store, something didn't feel right. The closer he got, the more he realised that his brother must have put up some wards to repel him. He didn't know whether to be angry, or impressed.
But skulking around for now, keeping a low profile and waiting for the right moment for an unsuspecting meal to just walk by seemed like a good way to pass the evening. He sniffed the air and lay in wait, anticipating the sweet taste of his next meal.
Being the only vampire in town did have its advantages, after all.
