Summary: Montague and Verity talk about what they found out.
He knew she hated the bed rest, which was why, after the first day he'd helped her (though no walking, even though she'd fought) move to their bedroom. It was more comforting then the stark white room that Mother always seemed to pull people to when sick; but then that wing seemed to be the place to do so...
Now, however, he did as much as he could to keep it from being boring, distract her so she wasn't tempted to get out of the bed. Marlowe played in their room more often (which he didn't seem to mind), he'd had Ficus get Bally and Monster, he'd requested books, and did a lot of work in the bedroom next to her in bed, or in one of the chairs.
His mother tried her best as well, brought her those horrid magazines, brought tea and such... Then again his mother was nearly beaming at the idea of grandchildren.
He was even trying to get up a little earlier- so she wasn't for hours after her own awakening left to lie next to him as he slept... Now was one of those times, though it was only a nap.
Blinking his eyes, he lightly kissed her shoulder in attempts to awaken himself, the soft scent of lilies and rain guiding his lips. "M'hope I didn't sleep to long..." he muttered, scooting to move and kiss her neck.
