"Can I say I'm glad? I'd have to punch him if he turned into one of those whiny Gryffindors like you used to be," he teased. "I like you so much more now you're not a big girl."
He shrugged. "I probably have some at the estate or I can find some. I hardly have to worry about money, do I?" he asked with a grin. "It's a wonder Weasley doesn't try using the cash cow sitting in this office doing reports. I'd pay not to do them."
Adrian shook his head. "No, I like giving surprises too," he answered. "Where is it? If you want any help getting things into place before you show him, I'll lend a hand. My house elves - crazy as they are - can be quite useful," he added.
He listened to Cormac, drawing some parallels with his own life. Whilst he hadn't loved anybody before Stephen, he had also been adamant that he wouldn't love anybody as it would only end in hurt. He just couldn't make the connection between looking after children for their parents and having one that would call him Father and look up to him.
"Stephen wants children," he answered quietly. "He's talking to Boot- Charms, egg donors, surrogates and I'm not really sure whether I do or not but he does, he really does and I know I can't say no to him no matter how much he spouts off about how it's okay and how he's happy with just the two of us. I don't know what the fuck to do."
