"It's a lot easier to avoid something you see coming," Cormac said archly. "Rather than an attack from behind." He smirked. "But I suppose that's why you're a Slytherin and I'm a Gryffindor."
Cormac's eyes dimmed as he remembered the girl in question. She'd been very sweet, and completely stuck on Adrian. "She died. In the attack that destroyed the Ministry. A lot of people died that day," he said, frowning. "A lot of people that we couldn't save."
Cormac blushed, something he never did, and slid the paper under some others. "It's nothing," he said. "Just ideas."
