Dennis just shook his head and laughed low. "Your loss, sweetheart." Licking his lips, he looked her over once more, still sucking on the lollipop as if he were deep in thought. "Still, if you change your mind, I'm willing to cut you a break - old friends and all."
He was laughing at her sarcastic words. "Well then, you should go into the Auror's office and ask them to take down those posters decrying me as some sort of sadistic killer. I could use a good character referee."
Her threats of violence were not hollow, he could see that. But she had a delicious darkness to her - the sort of appetite that obviously was needed if she were hanging around a place like this. "You'd make a great dark creature, Orla," he offered again. "You know where to find me if you change your mind."
He was starting to get restless and knew he would have to go soon to feed, the lollipop doing nothing to sate his hunger.
