Cass nearly laughed, not knowing how else to react. In many ways he agreed with her, Percy was being stubborn and ridiculous, but what else where there to do than to keep his terms?
'You're honestly asking my intentions?' he chuckled, shaking his head. 'Why do I suddenly feel like a boy who needs daddy's permission to go out with his daughter?' he asked, though holding up his hand to show that he was intenting to answer so that she wouldn't be angry.
'You don't need to worry about my intentions,' he then stated calmly, jumping up and perching himself on the counter, his movements graceful now that he was sober. 'Percy was very clear on what he demanded before we got into anything. A real monogamous relationship or nothing but friendship. He wouldn't go for my idea of just sex,' he said with a smirk. His face then grew more serious.
'I decided I couldn't settle for just friendship, so I agreed to everything he wanted and moved in,' he said calmly, shrugging. 'If anything you should be worried about me, he'll wake up one day and realise I wasn't half as interesting as I made out to be and grow bored. I won't leave him, I've already given my word. I-' He paused, he hadn't said the words yet, even to Percy, not fully. He always stopped at I and somehow Percy knew what he meant. Then he smiled realising it didn't matter. 'I love him,' he said simply. It was true, he knew it. Saying it or not didn't change the fact.
