"I know she was," Remus said softly, rocking Dora against his chest. "Regardless of if you wanted her there or not, she'd have gone anyway. We know this about her. She... was like you in that respect," Remus said softly.
He tightened his grip on Tonks, tucking her securely against his body. "You had no way of knowing they'd even be needed. There was no way of guessing this was going to happen and you cannot beat yourself up for that reason."
