Dora looked up, messily wiping tears and snot away from her face with the back of her sleeve. It was a shirt her mum had gotten for her one Christmas, ironically, but she didn't realise the fact immediately, which was probably for the best. She could just barely make out Cass' face looking down at her. The words were easier to decipher, but it took her more than a moment to figure it out.
She shook her head before trying to speak. "N-No." There was pain coursing through her body from the position she'd folded herself into. Her body simply didn't like it, but compared to everything else, that was fine.
"My mum..." Dora gestured to the body on the floor before another shuddered sob heaved from her chest.
