'It's my arm, Susan,' he said, brushing a curl out of her face. 'It's a lot less serious than yours. I can only blame myself for only semi healing it rather than retreating and fixing it properly. Only the thought of catching Bellatrix...' He did not need to go on, they both knew what that catch would have meant to them.
'I don't know, Susan, though I do believe that Harry would have said something if Minerva was dead. Lupin is their leader now, and while he is a werewolf, he got this together after all.' But she was right, it was a worry who was going to take over the Ministry. Would it be someone reasonable? Or someone wishing to place those close to him or her at leading positions? Of course the only position that counted now was Percy's. Fuck he hoped Percy's job was still safe.
When she questioned the battle though, he shook his head at her doubt. 'We found their hide out, we set parts of it on fire judging from the smoke (he really hoped no muggles had seen that smoke), they know they can't ever be save there again.' It was worth it, it had to be worth it. 'Besides, they lost Lucius Malfoy, he may not be the leader but he's definitely important to them.'
