Ben grinned, not upset at all at Faustus' calling him little. "I'm the shortest boy in my class!" he said. "I'm like a Hobbit! Have you read the Hobbit? It's brilliant! It's got dragons and Gandalf and dwarfs and treasure. My friend Ella has a real Dragon, and you can do magic inside! She let me use the wand she got for Christmas!" He had to remember to tell Daddy that he wanted a wand too.
Ben bounded into the kitchen, looking for Dobby. The little elf spotted them immediately, and was beside them in an instant. "Little Misters are not supposed to be being here now," he scolded. "Little Misters should be with their fathers."
"Dobby, I'm showing Faus around! He'd new you know!" He didn't mention how they were hiding from Faustus' dad. "We need some treats, for a adventure! Can you help us?"
Dobby tsked, but hurried over to the other elves, and had them put together a small basket for them. "Thanks Dobby!" Ben shouted, hugging the little elf. "You're the bestest!"
He was about to tug on Faustus' hand so they coudl leave, when another elf came up. Ben didn't know this one. "Hi! I'm Ben! What's your name?" he asked politely.
