"Oh, it was," Dora said quickly. Her eyes quickly flickered down to the ring on her finger and she rubbed the gold band with her finger as if to assure herself that it was still there. "Venice was gorgeous and... I'm glad we're finally married. I was beginning to wonder if it would ever happen. I'm sorry you weren't there, really." She found herself blushing again. It seemed she'd been doing that a lot ever since getting that ring on her finger.
Dora finally pulled her eyes away from the ring and looked back at her mum, trying to make her face appear slightly more serious. In other words, trying to wipe the goofy grin off her lips. It was becoming quite the task.
"We'll come by for dinner eventually," she said, tugging at her hair. "Once things cool off with-- all of this." Dora gestured to the room at large and the Order members within it. "You're not getting involved, are you?"
