Pansy made a face. 'Yes, you could!' she insisted. 'And Percy could, too, only he doesn't know it yet. I shall just have to convince him of how wonderful Harry is....without letting him know that's what I'm doing, of course!' She smiled at Cass, quite pleased with herself.
'I should like to visit you,' Pansy grinned. It sounded so domestic, not something that she'd ever thought in relation to Cass, but there was no way she would say that aloud.
'And you should come visit us!' she said in excitement. Then she frowned. 'Errr....me? I'm sure I could Harry to go elsewhere. I could just tell him Percy was coming...' She frowned.
Then she laughed. 'Oh, well. Intrigue is second nature to us, isn't it?' she teased.
Pansy lifted the small ball of mewling fur out of the basket and held it up. The little kitten fit in her hands. 'Oh, Cass!' she breathed. 'It's precious!'
She looked at him. 'It's for me?' she said, her eyes shining.
As if she was letting him leave with the precious little thing, anyway....
