Gabrielle had been out purchasing a few supplies for the primary school. Now that the kids were, for the most part, healthy and attending, little things like parchment disappeared quickly. There was nothing at the store that would replace her favorite notebook, however, and for a moment she wondered how Jander was doing.
The wind was rather aggressive as she made her way back to Fleur's home, and the blonde had pulled her pale hair into a dark purple ribbon to keep it all out of her face. Sadly, though, the weather seemed to have other plans for Gabrielle's choice of fashion, and the pretty accessory was soon pulled from her locks and into the sky.
Frustrated, she continued the rest of her walk with long strands of platinum in her face. At the mercy of the elements, she was glad to have such perfect hair- it did not tangle, even with the wind's greatest efforts. Regardless, frequent attempts to brush it aside were required, and on about her 10th try, she was almost knocked over by an apparently unobservant stranger. "La~!" she exclaimed in surprise. Clearly, it had been his fault.
Pulling her shaken hair away from her face as if it were a pair of curtains, she met eyes that were handsome. Well, more handsome than she had assumed would suit such a clumsy human being, anyway. "Eet eez nuzzing," she said, trying to emulate her sister's politeness. "I deed not drop any of my zings, deed you?" She instinctively looked to his arms for what he was carrying, and what she saw made her squeal.
